August Adamowicz specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration.

He has experience in complex commercial and investment arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICSID, ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and FAI arbitration rules across various jurisdictions, in particular England, Switzerland, Poland and Brazil. His practice covers a range of industries, including media, energy, medical devices, oil and gas, and construction. He has acted as tribunal secretary and as counsel representing parties in investor-state disputes and advising litigants in the development and management of high-stakes post-award enforcement strategies.

Prior to joining LKK Arbitration, August trained with the international arbitration practice groups of Swiss and international law firms, and completed an internship at the Department of International and European Law at the Office of the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland.

August has qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales and holds an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) from the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute, and a Master’s degree (Magister) from Jagiellonian University in Kraków.

He works in Polish and English, with basic knowledge of French.
