LKK is currently looking for a qualified lawyer with an in-depth knowledge of Canadian law (preferably Canadian trained), holding an LL.M or PhD in international dispute resolution and/or international law. Practical experience in a Canadian law firm and/or in an arbitration institution is required, as well as perfect command of English, good knowledge of French and excellent writing skills.

In order to strengthen the secretariat of one of our Partners, we are looking for a

 

 

Legal Administrative Assistant

 

 

This is a challenging and varied position, ideal for a person who already has experience in a similar role.

 

The tasks include classic secretarial duties such as maintaining a diary, preparing digital and hard-copy document files, organizing conference calls and meetings, drafting correspondence, and creating, organizing and archiving documents in our file-management system.

 

Your main responsibilities will be keeping track of procedural deadlines, maintaining accurate records of submissions and other legal documents exchanged in the proceedings, preparing hearing files, word-processing and formatting documents at advanced level (using styles, adding tables of contents, etc.), and filing electronic and hard copy submissions.

 

It is essential to be conscientious, proactive, organized and flexible, to have excellent MS Office skills, and to be at ease with, or happy to learn to use proficiently a number of applications, including videoconferencing tools, exhibit management software and e-filing platforms. You will be working with another experienced assistant with whom you will be sharing the tasks, and collaborating with lawyers from junior to partner level on a day-to-day basis.

 

We are looking for a French or English native speaker with an excellent level (spoken and written) in the other language. Good knowledge of Italian, Spanish or German would be an asset.
