LKK Team Succeeds in Appeal before CAS

LKK partner Antonio Rigozzi, counsel Brianna Quinn and associate Charlotte Frey, acting on behalf of football club Spezia Calcio before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), successfully appealed a decision rendered by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee which had banned the Club from registering new players, at national and international level, for four consecutive registration periods and had ordered it to pay a CHF 500’000 fine.

Having heard Spezia Calcio’s arguments, the CAS Panel deciding the case reduced both the fine and the duration of the ban, effectively enabling the Club to register new players as from the upcoming transfer window.
