LKK partner Antonio Rigozzi was invited to speak at the 2017 edition of the Tackling Doping in Sport annual conference in London, on 8-9 March 2017.

Tackling Doping in Sport is the largest independent anti-doping conference in the world, bringing together national anti-doping agencies, national and international sports federations, governing bodies, athletes and lawyers from around the globe.

Together with Dr Despina Mavromati, Managing Counsel and Head of Research and Mediation at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Prof. Rigozzi discussed the relevance and importance of Swiss law in the context of CAS anti-doping disputes, in particular in setting aside proceedings against CAS awards, which can only be brought before the Swiss Supreme Court.  Their presentation, entitled “Athletes’ appeals against doping-related CAS awards to the Swiss Federal Tribunal (SFT): Is it all about Swiss law”, can be accessed here.
