LKK senior associate Rahul Donde was invited to speak at a conference jointly organized by the World Economic Forum, the Columbia Centre on Sustainable Investment and the Chinese University of Hong Kong on “China`s Three-Prong Investment Strategy: Bilateral, Regional, and Global Tracks” which was held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong on 29-30 November 2016.

In his presentation “The scope of the dispute resolution clause in recent Chinese IIAs: a comparative analysis in light of recent jurisprudence”, Mr. Donde examined the scope of the dispute resolution clause in China’s second and third generation investment agreements, and reviewed recent jurisprudence that could affect the interpretation of the clause.
