Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler is pleased to announce Brianna Quinn’s promotion to Counsel. Brianna joined LKK as an associate in 2012, and was promoted to senior associate in 2017. She specializes in international sports arbitration and international sports law.
She has acted as counsel in numerous proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), and regularly advises clients from all areas in sport, including international governing bodies, teams, athletes and other individuals. She has particular expertise with regard to acting in anti-doping, disciplinary, ethics and other integrity proceedings, litigating contractual disputes, and advising on governance as well as regulatory matters. Brianna is also a permanent arbitrator at the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT). In this capacity, she has handled more than 50 financial disputes between basketball players, coaches, agents and clubs.
She has authored a number of publications on international sports arbitration and sports law, regularly speaks at international sports law conferences and has been invited as a guest lecturer in several international graduate and postgraduate sports law programmes.
Who’s Who Legal has ranked her as a Thought Leader in its Sports Global and Sports Law Switzerland guides since 2018, and she is a recommended practitioner in WWL Switzerland’s Sports & Entertainment guide since 2017.
Brianna is admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW (Australia) and the High Court of Australia.
