Nina Lauber-Thommesen specializes in international commercial arbitration. Nina has participated in over 50 international arbitrations under a variety of arbitration rules, including the ICC Rules, the Swiss Rules and the UNCITRAL Rules.
Nina’s areas of expertise include energy, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, international sales, banking and finance, services, construction and sports related disputes.
Nina’s experience in international arbitration covers perspectives of the bar and the bench as she regularly acts as counsel to parties, as arbitrator and as assistant to arbitral tribunals. Nina also advises clients on annulment proceedings and other court proceedings related to recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
Nina works in English, French and the three Scandinavian languages (NO/DK/SE).
Nina publishes on issues of international commercial arbitration and sports law and is frequently invited to speak at relevant conferences and seminars.
As a Norwegian national and Norwegian qualified attorney (norsk advokatbevilling), Nina maintains a close connection to the Nordic countries and is an active member of professional networks in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
