Mathilde Heusghem is a Swiss-qualified attorney, specializing in international commercial arbitration. She advises and represents clients before international arbitral tribunals and Swiss courts. She also acts as secretary of the tribunal in international and domestic ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings.

Mathilde primarily focuses on commercial disputes, including international agreements, such as distribution, sales, works and services, as well as media and sponsorship rights, in different industries, including construction, energy, sports and banking. She also practices in enforcement and attachment proceedings.

After interning at Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler in 2018, Mathilde worked as a trainee lawyer in a major Geneva-based law firm. She joined Lévy-Kaufmann-Kohler as an associate in 2021.

Mathilde holds a bilingual (French-English) Master’s degree from the University of Neuchâtel and an LL.M. from King’s College London with a specialization in international business law. She is fluent in French and English and has reading knowledge of German.
