Christophe Cachat specializes in international commercial and investment arbitration. He has participated as a member of the counsel team representing parties and as assistant or secretary to arbitral tribunals in institutional (ICSID, ICC, LCIA, SIAC) and ad hoc proceedings. He has experience in sectors such as construction, energy (electricity, oil and gas, renewable energy), mining, joint ventures and the international sale of goods.
Before joining Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, Christophe worked several years in Mexico as a member of the arbitration teams at international law firms and in the state-owned company Comisión Federal de Electricidad.
Christophe is admitted to the Mexico Bar and holds a Double Master in French and Swiss law from the Universities of Paris 2 Panthéon – Assas and Fribourg. He also obtained an LL.M. in Arbitration and International Business from the University of Paris – Saclay.
